[ARTICLE] How to Suspend a Writers Disbelief: A Keegan Favourite

Backstage recently published a very in depth article about suspending an audiences disbelief, which I feel would be helpful for us all (myself included) to read: https://www.backstage.com/magazine/arti ... ief-75754/

It covers...
  • What is the history of the suspension of disbelief?
The suspension of disbelief and creators
    Suspension of disbelief and actors
Suspension of disbelief examples from film, TV, and theater
Obviously this is set with the backdrop of film, TV & theater, but will have relevance to writing in eWrestling as we are essentially pretending to write for TV.

I hope this helps people out and I'd be interested on people's thoughts on the article (not so much on suspension of disbelief, but specifically on the article).

Have a good 'un.

I have heard you say "suspend your disbelief" more than 100 times in my lifetime.

Which is still not even a tenth of that silly running gag you trot out on a daily basis...
