Additional Description (Optional:) Davey-Boy is definitely known to go into the realm of high-flying especially when he’s outsized. He’s also surprisingly strong for his size so it wouldn’t be outside of his wheelhouse to bust out some powerhouse-style moves.

THE ROLLING STONE SUPLEX: A Rolling German Suplex usually executed off of a shove into the ropes or the turnbuckle usually executed with a bridge hold, but he may release depending on the situation.
THE WHIRLWIND WALLAP: (Dirty Finish) Airplane Spin into a Power of the Punch. Davey-Boy was given a pair of golden knacks by El Gringo Loco which he uses as both competitors are dizzy from the Airplane Spin. After the walloping his opponent in the jaw with the knocks, he continues to act dizzy or may actually be as he’s returning the knucks to his trunks. In the past, this move was executed with a headbutt instead of a Power of the Punch, but he doesn’t generally do that anymore because he doesn’t want to risk a concussion.

Strengths:
STRENGTH. Davey-Boy, despite his size, is very powerful and explosive. Despite size differences, he can definitely lift men significantly bigger than himself.
ZIP. Davey-Boy is lightning fast across the ring. When facing larger opponents especially, this could be particularly useful to him.
KILLER INSTINCT. Davey-Boy has learned to take whatever advantage he can to secure victory. This lesson was taught to him during his stint in SCW indirectly by El Gringo Loco, despite Keegan trying to keep him on the straight and narrow. Ironically, lack of Killer Instinct used to be a weakness for Davey.
Weaknesses:
SHOWBOAT. Davey-Boy O’Brien loves to show off and talk some trash. This could certainly get him in trouble during a match.
SIZE. Davey-Boy is undersized in comparison to many other competitors in the sport. This makes him a potentially easy victim to significantly larger opposition.
CHEATER. On the other side of the coin with Killer Instinct, Davey-Boy may attempt to bend or break the rules to win. This makes him vulnerable to getting disqualified.
Quirks/Eccentricities:
Davey-Boy tends to be pretty brave. Sometimes perhaps a bit too brave to the point of being stupid.
In general, Davey-Boy has the tendency to do the right thing, but his path in wrestling was a bit poisoned thanks to some teachings from El Gringo Loco showing him the easy way versus the sometimes hard way to success.
As a side note: Davey-Boy O'Brien is endorsed by Fresca Soda Water (Coca-Cola). He wears a Ribera-style jacket that has the Fresca theme on it.
Dos and Don’ts when writing your character
Davey-Boy O’Brien isn’t overtly chicken shit despite being a heel. He may act as such at certain times when appropriate, but he wouldn’t be scared just because someone else is the good guy in the situation.
Davey-Boy may, at times, get too caught up in the moment and deciding to execute one more move might find him in situations he doesn’t want to be in.
Davey-Boy enjoys showboating during the execution of various moves, and he also likes to make said moves more painful by adding in various maneuvers within the move itself (I.E. when holding his opponent in an Abdominal Stretch, he might jam his elbow into their ribs or perhaps grab the ropes while the referee isn’t watching).
As a Scientific Technician, Davey-Boy certainly likes to focus in on limbs especially if he’s planning on finishing with either the Celtic Knot or the Cromwell Bridge.
Beliefs, Values and Desires:
Davey-Boy is a professional wrestler to help support his mom back in John O’Groats.
Davey-Boy, in general, usually has his wrestling attire with him in case he gets booked on the fly. The likelihood of him not having his gear is very low so even if he attempts to say he doesn’t have his gear, he’s probably full of crap.
Davey-Boy wants to ultimately become a World Champion.
Backstory:
Davey-Boy O’Brien is the son and grandson of Irish sailors. He was born in John O’Groats, Caithness, Scotland to his widowed mother. Unfortunately, his father died out to sea during a huge storm. As he grew up, he took on the role of man of the house. Along the way, he took a liking to the sport of professional wrestling.
Over the course of a few years, Davey-Boy O’Brien was trained by hardcore wrestler Baz and, of course, NBW legend Keegan. At the young age of 18, Davey-Boy signed with UKWF where he was able to make a solid name for himself in singles competition. He later signed to SCW where he joined his mentor Keegan in becoming the SCW Tag Team Champions. After, their run as champions came to an end, Davey-Boy surprisingly turned on Keegan as his mentor questioned some of the antics he had been picking up from El Gringo Loco.
With Davey-Boy’s signing to GLOBAL, he looks to show off some of the things he’s learned during his time away from the limelight of professional wrestling despite Keegan’s teachings.
