It was expected for USA. It was nice to see the young team compete and finally not a team full of MLS players. However, it's obvious how far they are still away.
In my ESPN World Cup Bracket, I have Brazil defeating France in the finals. I hope I am wrong, but those two teams seem like the top two.

Because we're going to spank France on Saturday.
(We won't, and they're favourites, but I actually predicted we'd beat them before a ball was kicked. Why? 1. I do think we've got a chance. 2. I'm sick of everyone predicting a Brazil/France final.)
