STRENGTHS:

fights fair but won\'t give up; hard exterior/won\'t show emotions often, difficult to anger.

WEAKNESSES:

will care for others before herself (once a bond is formed); will fight until unconscious, choosing to fight through any and all pain rather than give up.

QUIRKS/ECCENTRICITIES:

Gives a salute to her opponent from the arena entrance, and once again if she claims victory over the match. Also has dog tags of her father who perished that she wears to the ring but takes off and gives to someone for safe keeping

ADDITIONAL DESCRIPTION OF IN-RING STYLE:

Uses her athleticism and flexibility to her advantage if the opportunity arises. Also quite agile. Main source of power is in her legs; take them our, she might be in trouble. Sometimes waits for the opponent(s) to attempt a strike at her, only to deliver a counter. Will taunt the opponent to rile them up more (usually does this if she has been challenged), but otherwise is silent and doesn\'t show off to the crowd when in the match.

DO’S AND DO NOT’S WHEN WRITING THE CHARACTER:

DO\'s -When angered, let her become ruthless, having a mindset to kill without actually going there. -A strong military mindset, but still a human being. She is happy to be here, let her express it in and out of the ring. -Let her try to argue with the ref because she is too injured to continue due to her stubbornness and determination (if need be, have one escort her out) DON\'Ts -She doesn\'t actually taunt openly/verbally unless angry. -Don\'t make her show off/gloat about her skills in the military or as a gymnast. She\'s proud but refuses to gloat due to her humble upbringing. -While she may be competitive, DON\'T make it clear she\'s upset about her loss unless it is against someone she challenged herself. Even then, allow her to still show good sportsmanship.

BELIEFS/VALUES/DESIRES:

-Believes in fighting for what you believe in, and supporting others that need it. Chase your dreams, and fight to keep yourself there. Those that give up easily won\'t last long in this world. Also believes in second chances. Those who deserve one should definitely get one. -Values friendship, partners, and overall trust among others. If one breaks said trust, you must go through hell and back to prove your trust again -Desires a challenge to be remembered, or just a challenge in general; willing to try almost anything once.

BACKSTORY:

Valerie was a high school gymnast which continued even through a year of college when she also volunteered as a teacher for children learning gymnastics as well. While it was a good distraction, it was far from what she truly wanted: to become a soldier and protect her country. Once graduating with an associates degree, she set out and joined the marines, much like her father did. She served for a four-year term, proudly holding the rank of Staff Sergeant before coming back home. There was a brief year or two where she went back to training and working with other gymnasts, volunteering as well with the children again before she began to get bored, craving a new challenge. That was when she heard about GLOBAL and decided to make an attempt to join the wrestling federation, wanting to challenge herself and see how far she can push herself.

APPEARANCE:

Appearance: Shoulder-length black hair, usually left down and free-flowing unless in a match [at that point its in a ponytail]. Natural brown eyes Average physique but obvious signs of muscles on biceps and stomach/abs. Wears glasses outside of the ring (not prescription) Attire: Simple blue-themed camo t-shirt tied at the waist to show a little bit of her stomach, tight yet comfortable black shorts, black combat boots, the dogtags of her deceased father (takes off prior to the match starting), black fingerless gloves, and a red and blue sweat-band around her upper arm with the Marine\'s symbol
