FEEDBACK PART 2

PIERSON V WALL: Wall FINALLY getting booked the way a monster heel should - but it's at the expense of a perfectly valid upper-midcarder. This better have been the purpose of Pierson all along, otherwise...why feed HIM to Wall?

ANGEL DOUBLE WHAMMY: Typo in the title of the segment, should be 'Interviewer'. This Bro dude is annoying, is his first name Vince? Otherwise, it's that f---ing guy again! Somebody block him from submitting so much sruff! The match is not half bad, I guess...

JESTER: Patchface from Game of Thrones is here, apparently...? And he does not understand rhyming metric at all. Also, HA, typo! ('rinside')

CRUSADER: Starts off as a babyface backstage promo, then takes a swerve for the interesting - and DOES NOT overstay its welcome or run overlong in the process! Good job. PS Crusader is SUCH a snake in the grass, I'm glad people are starting to see through his bullshit.

ALFIE V X: FINALLY....AFTER TWO LONG MONTHS...! And WOW, what a match! Cruiserweight wrestling at its finest. Near falls, false finishes, insane counters, and a huge honkin' flip to finish it all off. My kind of match - even if Alfie deserved better here to blow off the storyline. Best match not written by myself so far.

RECAP: Wrestling's equivalent of a video package, and it works - even if Jerry is called LARRY at one point. Different person right there.

TRIPLE THREAT TAG: Ah...the long expected party! Aaaand it's a little underwhelming, by my own admission. Hopefully people enjoy it, though. And for all you SCW-heads, which is most of you...look who's shown up, possibly to stay...

TWITCH ii - STREAMING BOOGALOO: There were supposed to be three, with the last one wrapping things up after the main event, but I missed out on booking the third slot I wanted, so...here it is. I also made up for not having anyone tell Teagan to shut up on the first one, so I'm happy.

BEST V MALTA: Face vs face match, always a bonus, and either man could use a win here. Nice mixture of the expected technical approach with some brawling, but without ever devolving into bad blood. The most likely man to win did, although, again, his opponent really deserves better, poor guy.

DORITOS MEETS WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE: So it IS true that somebody else wrote Old Willy's plays! Also, seeing Doritos talk street is SO freaking weird! Also, wait, thin as a rake? Didn't he use to be buff? Are there MULTIPLE Doritos Men?

LADY RAH RAH V JERRY SEINFELD: This one wastes no time getting under way and heated. As expected, neither man holds back, and this is the trash brawl the ladies did not get to have early on, as their match moved in a different direction. 'MY GOD! The injured penis of E Z Rah!' has to be the line of the night. Another predictably excellent brawl with lots of little character touches (especially from E Z, like the money-based distraction) and a HOLY SHIT finishing sequence. Also, OF COURSE that had to be the only possible result. My new MOTN, and it eclipsed my own attempt at an arena-wide brawl. Outstanding work.

MAKE-A-WISH: Wait, Gemini's alive?!?! Also, I can't help but feel for the guy. What is all the hype around boring old man Darring, anyway?

TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: Short but sweet here, and it doesn't really read like Crash was struggling, which I know he was. Good use made of the whole stable aspect, but I feel the end should have come directly after that, rather than a few more moves out. Good even fight up until then, and the Riches are left with a sense of injusice. This rivalry definitely needs to keep going into the next cycle - still plenty of juice to milk out of this. Congratulations to the retaining Champions.

THE CASE FOR REYN: Predictable conclusion to the trifecta, and yeah, Mark has a point - as much as Darring winning here has been telegraphed from space (I swear John J. Truth's ship intercepted a signal to that effect as he was crash landing to Earth from the Orion Nebula) Reyn IS the thinking man's choice, because...it's a no holds barred match. What's stopping him from just eating everybody?

DORITOS III: OH MY GOD, SPEEDY GONZALEZ KILLED BEETHOVEN! YOU BASTARD! Also, yep, Doritos is DEFINITELY different people - THIS Doritos Man appears to be Latino...?

JED V VAL: SOMEBODY'S GONNA GET THEIR ASS KICKED! With how much the announcers are dismissing Jed early doors, I'm almost expecting an upset here. Welp, that didn't happen...but that was absolutely the right result. Great little match, and I'm excited for the fallout from the post-match bit. Stay tuned...

ACT III: WOW! WHAT a video package! Perfect hype for the match ahead.

MAIN EVENT: OK...I need a breather. Be right back.

....aaaand we're back. And the crowd was right - that WAS awesome. Nevermind the result telegraphed from the Orion Nebula (and oh, how I was hoping against hope that we would get swerved, but alas) nevermind Reyn and Rich suddenly teleporting away, never to be mentioned again - that was a four-five star Main Event, worthy of a Supershow. The pace was breakneck, the writing just as frantic (I will forgive the countless typos, as I could almost SEE the writer mashing their keyboard to bits as they got increasingly carried away) and some of the sequences downright insane. There was so much history to relay, so much to unpack, yet it never felt overbooked or rushed (breakneck pace is different than a rushed match). The announcers showing their bias all the way through, and BLATANTLY so, also fit in with the narrative told throughout the show. I was on the edge of my seat all the way through, but ESPECIALLY for the second half, and not even a nourishment break diminished my enthusiasm, which I feared might happen. Fantastic match, worthy of an inaugural title challenge, and with the right (?) winner. I only hope Danny Boy (after THAT MATCH, he deserves not to be called Roman anymore - also, was this a babyface turn for him? It certainly felt that way) gets another shot. He deserves it. As for Darring...enjoy your title, old man. There's a couple of way more interesting personalities about to come gunning for it.

PS Allie's voice breaking from the emotion at the end was EVERYTHING.

BEST MATCH: Main Event, with a shout out to Rah/David and Alfie/X.
BEST SEGMENT: Main Event recap video package, or any of the usual Doritos trifecta.
BEST ANGLE: Main event, I guess. Does Doritos Man time-travelling to meet celebs count?
BEST LINE OF THE NIGHT: 'MY GOD! The injured penis of E Z Rah!
ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT: Typos and formatting issues (only spotted one misplaced line break). No misplaced segments this time, though the timeline appeared to waver a bit in the early segments. Great work from Scott with the dedicated, fancy looking page, too. This FELT big and it READ big. Great work, everyone!

MAGNUM OPUS OPENING VIDEO: Graphic looks good, but the song was unexpected … Lots of energy excites you for the PPV if your ears can handle it. Note to self do not add any Sunlust songs to my Amazon Music playlist.

WELCOME TO MAGNUM OPUS: Good rundown of clips/highlights.

PRIMA MATERIA: Ahh, yes… I love a good opening that sets the tone and brings context and expectations for the show. Big fan! I understand why Domination does not do them, but I am hopeful this becomes, at the very least, a PPV thing.

RENT HAS BEEN COLLECTED: Hmmm ... Well-written piece - poor Frank Rich. I will wait and see how it unfolds before giving full feedback. Why is this happening on this show? The assumption is Reyn, which confuses me since he should have bigger fish to fry later at night. Why is this happening on this show? Nevertheless, without getting ahead of myself, the piece in a bubble is done well, and the visuals are good. It’s not overdone and simple.

TWITCH LIVESTREAM WATCH PARTY: I like a creative idea, and a live stream watch party on twitch makes me chuckle. It’s our new energetic tag team, Trouble Roxx. These two can be fun in the next arc. Good idea for a team without a match. Well done.

THE PRINCE AND THE PAUPER: Clever title, and I can get behind Principe and Truth. That sounds like a fun first feud for Truth or, at the very least, a match. Another segment where I didn’t feel I just took up air time by someone without a match. Good stuff.

THE NUMBERS DON’T LIE: Ahhh… an inside look at some “business.” The fun segment showed us some of the in-character thinking processes/storylines in “booking” the main event in the first cycle and a little cliffhanger for what may be coming. I may have moved this up a few segments. I don’t know. Perhaps it would have been nice before Prima Materia so the opening could have followed this. I am splitting hairs, though!

MATCH: ALECZANDER THE GREAT VS “BIG AUG” AUGUST LAZAR: I always felt this was an interesting choice for the opening match. You can’t go wrong, though, as many people, including me, have been waiting for this match. You are giving us what we want right off the bat. Guess we can turn the PPV off afterward? :) Okay, I will stop thinking like a promoter.

Really good hype that leads into the entrances. Big Aug’s Chow Time apron is awesome! That better be selling off the shelf.

Oh man, Aleczanders entrance feels big, and the crossed-out Doritos and, in its place Aleczander The Great is a nice touch.

There are too many lines to call out; otherwise, you would be reading an extensive review here, but this match was a blast. So many fun lines, two larger-than-life characters, and such an easy read; even with its size, the match pulls you in and thoroughly entertains you.

Loved the momentum-changing moments, the near-fall reactions, when both Aug and Aleczander were down sequence.

Ultimately, both men looked huge and got over with this story and match. Aleczander had to cheat to win. That allows a possible rematch down the road, sets the tone for Big Aug to have a story near the top of the card next arc, and Aleczander to take his expected place as the top contender.

A big GREAT JOB to the handler of these two characters. You entertained us through the first six shows building the feud and story. Then after building excitement and expectations for this feud, you delivered at the PPV, placing both characters in a better place afterward. What could have been done better here? A+

GLOBAL SIT DOWN: I wrote this segment instead of feedback. I like to share my thought process. Darring and Blaine have a long history dating back to Hopper’s leagues. I tried to use their relationship. As the only face in the match later, I felt it was my job to bring light to the moment's importance and show that Darring was here to take the challenge seriously, even with his past accomplishments. The last line is a line I have brought out plenty of times before, and it used to be a staple in Darring’s heel days. I figured it would fit with the stakes on the line. Anyways - Build the importance of the title, the first PPV event, the match with worthy opponents, and whatever comes next. I hope some of that came out when you all read it.

THE CASE FOR DARRING: At first, I felt a little weird reading this, like dang, thanks for the nice things said about my character, but nothing was said about Dream or Reyn, but later I noticed this would be a section for us all, and I didn’t feel so weird about it. Neat concept, and I appreciate the added effort in hyping my character and his match later in the night.

MATCH: AMBER LEE VS KID CHAMELEON: This is probably a good match to put after the amazing match we just had. No disrespect to these two characters intended, but the match's style and pacing make this a good follow-up match.

This solid back-and-forth match built off their earlier match on Domination 5 and made me chuckle, especially since I have been secretly trying to influence Amber Lee into going into a crazy stalker with my feedback: expected result and some good spots and commentary.

Interesting after-match that didn’t take away from the match or past story. Wrestling 101 at its finest.

GUNNINGHAM: I don’t even know how to review these things! I mean, obviously, the stuff is written top-notch. They just feel out of place on a wrestling show! I did like the touch at the end where it tied into the PPV saying Make this your Magnum Opus.

HEALTH FANATICS VS PRIME TIME ATHLETES: No one else will notice this as it’s not important, and I don’t even want to call this out because I don’t want to make Keegan feel bad because it’s not a big deal. However, I feel a little sad reading this - I emailed an opening where the PTA came out and mocked Health Fanatics and made fun of that cripple Greg Matthews, and the Health Fanatics came roaring down and started unloading on the scumbags. So it’s no harm done. However, I get it PPV time; unimportant things get lost.

As for the match - It’s a well-placed match at the dreaded three slot. The story didn’t live up to its potential with the failed attempts with the Physical Challenges. It was a mid-tier story, and it gets a mid-tier time slot.

Well done to the writer for focusing on the story of the match with the left knee. PTA capitalizes on their earlier shenanigans and trades in and out with the tags. For the slot of the match - it has fast-intense action with lots of near falls, and after Health Fanatics “win” the two Physical Competitions, the PTA gets the win in the match.

Health Fanatics are fun characters, and even with PTA as my own characters, I found myself rooting for the Fanatics. I look forward to seeing the Health Fanatics go into another story that didn’t get sandbagged by my poor execution! Thanks to Keegan for allowing me to have such creative freedom with them and the feud. Hopefully, I will find a better feel for the team in the next arc.

THE CASE FOR DREAM: Lucas Quinn has sold me - Dream will win later tonight! I will echo my earlier statement. I like this idea of making a case for each man.

WHO BUYS THAT CRAP?: Whoa .. the only thing this was missing was Sof of Malta. It would have been neat if he was added to the segment. Instead of just an X and Alfie wager, a double wager for both matches? But it was still good for what it was. The steaks raised, and there was some skin in the game. I wish I had seen this before writing their match.

MATCH: CHRISTIAN PIERSON VS THE GREAT WALL: Oh boy, it’s time for the wild adventure of The Great Wall. What will happen this time? Well, that was interesting - Pieron had mental issues and showed complete fear of The Great Wall, leading to his unexpected demise. I am curious about where this will take Pierson. I guess it helps rebuild the Wall, but for me, it’s more of what could have been if it wasn’t for that big road bump earlier for the big man! The unexpected result, though with some intrigue. I expect Domination's next show Great Wall will be depantsed by Alf Alferson or something to continue the Wall’s confusing journey.

THE ANGEL AND THE JERK INTERVIEWER: “New York slickster-cum-interviewer” … Well, now … First off, where is Steve Blaine when you need him? This “bro” dude gots to go! Angel sets the tone for the upcoming street fight, which she sure likes chicken.

MATCH: ANGEL RAMIREZ VS “QUEEN” BIANCA DAVIS: Man, I was very interested in Queen when she first debuted. The character lost steam, and Angel picked up the mantle to keep the feud going. Some good commentary adding flavor to the match. It’s a street fight unique to the rest of the matches we have seen in GLOBAL. You expect fun spots and a bit of chaos in street fight stipulations, and this delivered. I am unsure who should be the face in this match! The right person went over, and props to our first Street Fight in GLOBAL. Fun match, well-paced, slotted well on the card, and easy to read.

THE JOKER & THE QUEEN: Okay, I didn’t expect this. A debuting dark character? Solid segment passing one feud to another. Hopefully, this feud can see the Queen return to doing queen things. The new character looks interesting. Is he a bit of an Alex Reyn jr? Guess we will see.

DON’T BE AFRAID TO LET THEM GO: Okay, this is continued from earlier. Crusader X is really firing on all cylinders, and I will echo from earlier. I wish I had seen these segments before writing their match. I still would have liked Son of Malta to be involved in these to tie both matches on the PPV together.

MATCH: ALFIE BUTTON VS CRUSADER X: I wrote this match, so I won’t give any feedback. I enjoyed writing this match as both characters offer a fun set of moves to play with. I tried to start the match slower, knowing the ending would be 110 mph. It looks like my HOLY BLEEPS got messed up somehow pasting the match into word press, which is a bummer. I had a lot of fun writing this match and hope it came across as such.

VIRAL COMEDY RECAP: “Magnum Opus theme” plays over the montage clips - nobody wants to hear that song twice! Outside of that some nice clips reliving one of the top feuds in GLOBAL’s first arc. I am looking forward to this match later!

MATCH: THE DIRTY BIRDS VS METAL MILITIA VS TITS ‘N’ ASS: Ahhh, SCW throwback. Fun. This was built around Hayley and Hanson and their story - even if a small part of me was rooting for Metal Militia. Another easy read and a simple match. We need these in a PPV like this.

TWITCH STREAM WATCH PARTY II: The twitch party continues. I hope the follower count has been rising with GLOBAL Nation!

MATCH: Darren Best VS SON OF MALTA: Another match I wrote, I tried to write a veteran technical battle that helped sell both men for future use and battles. I would have liked to see some Malta hype segment before the match, but I guess I did my job selling them.

OLD WILLY: I would really like to understand this fascination with Doritos air time that GLOBAL dedicates. I hope it’s a very financially beneficial sponsorship.

MATCH: EZ RAH VS JERRY DAVID: We had a street fight earlier, and now a last-man-standing match. I expected this one to have some intensity, and it did not disappoint. They have similar stips, but they are different enough.

This feud has had too much penis torture in it. It started with a bang, and both men were going at each other. From now on, these two men must wear cups when being around one another.

Man, this was a fun, fast read. Before you knew it, it was over, and both men were out. A lot of meat was left on the bone for this blood feud, so I could see the draw. Awesome read, and looking forward to seeing more from these two. However, I don't know how they are going to match that first arc.

MAKING A WISH COME TRUE: OOOHHH NOOOO…. Sean Darring isn’t going to be happy. I need to send some swag to this poor kid!

I love Gemini, even if he is a journeyman just trying to earn a check to survive! Fuck you, kids.

THE MASTER SISTERS VS THE RICH FAMILY: A late tag title match looks a little outshined by many lesser matches, even other tag matches, but I understand the match writer is growing as a match writer. So not concentrating on that, there were some good - if the focus was on the champions, they came across as the strongest team here and not totally at the sacrifice of the Rich Family. Some spacing and perhaps more commentary could have helped this writer get his point across without having to focus on too much more moves. This may have been a place for fedheads editing to help beef up the match with some sample education.

Keep at it - this was a solid start. I didn’t feel like it hurt the feud, PPV, or tag titles by any means.

THE CASE FOR REYN: And here we are, the final case for the third man. As if anyone really needs to make a case for Reyn. He is a visual man, after all.

THE INVENTION OF THE COWBELL: This Cowbell would have been a better opening song than Sunlust.

JED JOHNSON VS VALORIE VITALITY: This is an excellent spot for this match. The show has been big, and there have been big moments, and with this match, you can relax a bit. The match happened as I expected. Valorie put Jed away as she should. There were no complaints about the match. It did its job, and it was placed in a nice place so you could recharge your batteries for the main event. Well done.

ACT III: We get more hype setting up the Main Event. It was fun to relive the journey over the past six shows as we built the story towards crowning the first GLOBAL Champion.

MAIN EVENT - ALEX REYN VS SEAN DARRING VS DANIEL DREAM: Okay, before we go into this match - I wanted to say much respect to Reyn and Dream. They played their parts well heading into this match. It was nice that you could pick any of the three characters, and I like the others, I am sure, volunteered and had no issues taking the fall to a worthy handler.

The Match - The opening and entrances captured that big match feels. I like the announcers rehashing that Alex Reyn and Sean Darring are old rivals and reminding everyone, even though their GLOBAL history is short.

So many spots and the action is non-stop, to begin with. I can’t go into every spot, but the match writer is doing well early to involve all three men. Also, share the love for allowing all three men to look strong out of the gate and focusing on getting that first bit of “control” in the match.

Things heat up toward the middle of the match. Bigger spots and action spill to the outside, where things become more dangerous. I am glad to see Darring selling well, and questions how much he can endure becoming a focus.

Fun Dream and Darring combo on Reyn. Shae (the match writer) does an excellent job in these big-time matches bringing in the visuals and making sense of the move sequences. That is harder than it sounds when writing epic matches like this.

We have some big counters; as you see, the men try to pull out the more prominent spots as they begin to smell the gold. Another prop to the match writer as he sometimes focuses on all three strengths in the match. Dream’s wrestling skill, resiliency. Darring’s experience and ring IQ. Reyn’s brutality and chaos. While the three men couldn’t be any different, the match writer ties them with their strengths.

The visuals and the move of Reyn spearing Darring into the ring steps were awesome. Also, a call back to Darring’s older tendencies that he can call to and lean on when he “needs” them.

The Table spot was huge. Holy Shit, chant that Word Press did not mess up.

Uncle Slam into the ring post! Nice spot.

Man, I could call out nearly every spot. Marvelous job and match psychology going on here.

Dream is looking strong, and it’s a nice call and tease to the Chosen One theory throughout the first arc.

Dream has Darring in the American Dream… This could be trouble.

Freddie Rich shows up… I was afraid of this when I read the earlier segment when he was attacked. I know there is history between Rich and Reyn, but in GLOBAL, it hasn’t been much of a focal point. A small pet peeve of mine is trying to get too fancy and add too much in. It’s the first PPV - First Championship Match. Sell the shit out of how important that match and the event are itself. Save the Rich and Reyn stuff for a Domination or a moment without interference out of the blue. I felt it was bad timing and unneeded and could have been saved for a better place to run that story. Let the title be the story here.

Allie is astonished - What on earth is he doing here tells the story. It didn’t make a lot of sense.

We return to the ring, and I feel the interference has just taken away from a classic match. The focus of what had been happening has now shifted to Freddie Rich showing up out of nowhere to attack Reyn.

I had to take a break from the match and refocus because the spot changed my mind frame, and I wanted to refocus. Dream now on the warpath. Water in the eyes… It mixed the sweat, potential blood, and grime from the match that could sting a bit.

Monitor over Dreams head… It must have been a Dell. I can relate.

The back-and-forth by Darring and Dream is well done. The way these two are going at it is a throwback to their first match, and it has a big-time feel.

Loved the call back to Darring’s past as a way to finish it after such a grueling match. All three men looked strong while Reyn was involved in the match. Afterward, Dream and Darring had a classic one-on-one battle.

Shae did a fantastic job on the match itself. Special feeling for a particularly unique moment for GLOBAL. All three men would have been worthy champions, and before I talk about that and my character winning, I want to reflect on the effort and this match itself for a moment.

I felt the match was more than worthy PPV main event. I think the fact Reyn was taken out of the match by Freddie Rich like that hurt the match. It did make it feel like that story that came out of nowhere was as crucial as crowning the first GLOBAL Champion.

I do get sending everyone home happy. Saving face in a loss. Creating new stories, and all of that. There was a better time to do that. It was about GLOBAL’s first arc - three men lucky enough to fight to become the first Champion. It should have stayed about that.

That felt overbooked.

Now, onto my sincere appreciation for the result. Honestly, either of these other two could have been booked to win, and I would have supported it in a heartbeat. A roster of others could have been in this spot, also. Thank you for thinking highly of my work.
I look forward to losing the belt and putting someone over eventually and seeing how this progresses.

Really good work by Reyn and Dream all arc.

OVERALL THOUGHTS:

Man, where do I start? This show lived up to expectations. From head to toe, the effort put into this showed. Everyone brought their A-game, a PPV we can all be proud of. Thank you to the fedheads for their effort in this monster PPV and the arc. We have all said it many times, but running an e-w league isn’t very rewarding. Not many people left will even attempt it. We should all be very thankful for the constant effort these gents give us.

The Great:

- First and foremost, the Main Event was well done, even if I have a small beef with an angle. That does not take away from the effort and quality of the main event. It’s a main event we can be proud of for the first PPV.
- The Opening - I love well-done hype segments and a segment setting the show's tone. This did that, and I felt the rest of the show fell into place thanks to that opening segment.
- Big Aug vs Aleczander The Great: We all knew this match would be great, and it lived up to our hopes and expectations.
- There wasn’t a bad segment on this show which is saying a lot. Top-down, the work, and effort showed.
- New feuds started … some extended.
- Fuck you, kids!!!!

Thoughts for Improvement:
- The Freddie Rich out-of-nowhere angle shoved into the Main Event. I have talked about this enough. It was bad timing for me.
- Tag Title Match fell short compared to the other matches, especially the other tag matches.
- The Opening Theme Song - is brutal!

Again, great work, everyone. Remember, this is just one man’s feedback. I know some of my opinions in the past have caused some debate. In the grand scheme of things - It’s just e-wrestling. We are all trying to tell a creative joint story; this was an excellent job done by all.

Geez, Brian, if I didn't know any better, I'd say you didn't like the theme song, and felt the Main was overbooked...!

(I, on the other hand, really dug the song, especially as a theme for an action-packed show, and will be looking into this band.)

Yes, I sat down to read the show, had my earbuds in... Hit play for the PPV, and wished my volume was lower or muted. :)

As for the Main Event, I want to be careful. I was wordy because I wanted to point out how much I liked 99% of the Main Event. In hindsight, I drowned about it longer then I should have, but I was trying to be respectful.

Re: Magnum Opus - Feedback Thread

Post by MasterSisters »

Leaving some feedback already, might return after I read more of it.

So, firstly, I loved everything that was put into this show to make it feel like a Special as opposed to just a bigger Domination. From outside things like the different, and quite beautiful, new page design, the theme song (and even a credits roll), to the inside things like the intro packaging (loved it) and the match recaps bythe announcers at the beginning. It's a bit risky as it can cause a show that is already quite big to feel slow to start, but I personally think it's worth to really give off this feeling of something special to come.

The "hype" for a lot of the matches was also really well done, specially the main event (which I haven't read the match yet), seeying it appear and reapper often, even among characters unrelated to the match made it feel like this trully was the most important event of the night! My favourite was Gemini's.
"Fuck you, kids" is definitely line of the show to me.

I think the packaging for EZ and Jerry's match would make more sense right BEFORE their match tho, for all it's worth. I like my packagings as an intro for the thing that is about to come, as I think it makes sense. Segments hyping them up, I think can make more sense before the match, specially because a lot of times the people aren't really anywhere near the ring, but packages... yeah, right before it is the sweet spot for me. Anyways, derailed a bit.
But just having those packages is a plus point for me, I grew up loving the WWE packages more than some of the matches, so to see them here does put a smile on my face.

It was also really nice to see the "rent" plot of The Rich Family continue to evolve, and reach a proper next phase on the show that signifies the next phase.
And I liked the T-Roxx streaming the show, specially as someone who ocasionally streams, tho Pedro portrais the experience in the exact same way blockbuster movies and wrestling gimmicks do. It's hard to explain, but I feel it. I would've liked to see it more than just twice on the whole show tho. If they're streaming everything, we could've had them appear at the end of some segments and matches dropping short comments. Tho I understand that's hard to do when you don't have access to the whole show.

I've only ready three or so matches so far, and I really don't have a lot to say, they're amazing, you've all brought your A game here! The intro match is my favourite so far. Big Aug and Alecz are just plain fun.

Well, that's it for my feedback as of now.

As for yours, thank you!
I understand that my match dropped the ball. When I finished writting it, I felt like it really wasn't on pair for a Tag Team TITLE MATCH on a motherfucking PPV, but looking at the show it's honestly worse than I thought.
This was my second match on Global and my second match EVER, and my first match got an overall negative review as well, not insulting, or hurtful, you've never been nothing but respectful in your feedbacks to me and to others, but it was still negative. I admire and respect the process of writting matches far more now, and on my failures I've learned stuff, including what my weakest parts are.

I'm gathering the tips and feedback given, reading matches less for enjoyment and more for learning, and I'm going to try to change the way my process works, because, honestly, both times it has LITERALLY, like literally literally, not slang literally, cause me pains.
The experiencing of spending 10 hours working on something to end up with a very short piece of writing that you think sucks is frustrating, I'm sure we all have experienced this before.
So I want to thank you for the patience some of you had with the match, I really do think Pedro's being way too charitable here with me, but I supposed that's what same named friends do, lol.

I don't want to dive into another match writting for a while, thank you very much, but I hope I can eventually go back and write something... less big.

I've often thought that video packages weren't done anywhere near enough in this hobby, and don't get me wrong, I get why. But, they're great for EVERYONE. If you've read every show, you've still potentially forgotten something somewhere and it gets you in the mood. If you haven't, it's a perfect catch-up to say why this match is taking place. A lot of the great PPV ones I remember, I hadn't (and still haven't) seen many of the RAWs in which they took place, so they set the scene really well. There was an idea, and this is something for the future, to do a 'Previously on Domination' at the start of every episode. That, and rightly so, would fall on yours truly. Everyone who had a crack at the video packages, SORRY BRIAN, thank you for doing it, and let's see some more next PPV, as well. NOT OBLIGATORY for the record, just a recommendation.

Welcome to Magnum Opus - Loved this! Things that make the roster seem complete as opposed to just individual stories is always a win in my book.

Prima Materia - Just what a PPV like this needs, gave everything a big fight feel and got me hyped for everything to come. Very strong start to the show.

Twitch Live Stream Watch Party (All) - These were really fun and trouble Roxx are growing on me more each week. The whole thing felt real and almost like we have a bit of a host thing going on which added some gravity to the show as a whole.

The Prince And The Pauper - The goes a huge way in making Truth a massively unlikeable asshole and I already can't wait to see him get his ass handed to him.

Global Sit Down - Fed's absolutely need guys like Darring and they always shine when they're going for the big one. He's always been my pick for the title match tonight and promos like this for me solidify that case.

Gunningham - This was way more entertaining than it had any right to be. Doritos are turning into some sort of unofficial global mascot and I am in every step of the way.

HF Vs PTA - Really fun back and forth match that saw the right guys go over IMO. Well written tag mechanics and good finish.

The Case For.... segments - I enjoyed these even though I had already made my mind up about who would make a good first champion. Fun insight into the minds of the potential winners and made for some pretty compelling arguments.

The Angel And The Jerk - Normally I'm a huge fan of Angel promos but I think the overuse of the word 'Bro' and the phrase 'I-swear-to-gawd' in such a short time irked me. Hopefully she'll be talking to literally anyone else next time.

Angel Vs Bianca - Now we're talking, great fun match all round. Good character work during the match and I'm glad Angel went over.

The Joker And The Queen -If we end up with entire royal courtyard as a stable tbh I wouldn't complain, something new. The Queen moves on to a new story right away and we get a intriguing new character in the mix, great segment.

Viral Comedy Recap - I think Scott did a great job here as per usual hyping up our upcoming match, reminded me just how fun this whole arc was between these guys.

Triple Threat Tag - Another fun match, lost track of things when it got a bit chaotic but thats more a reflection of me and my attention span. I don't have a hug connection to any of the characters here really so it wasn't massive stakes.

Best Vs Malta - Another good match with a surprising outcome. It didn't have the highest stakes going on but still had a PPV match feel about it. Good work.

Old Willy - Doritos is weaving itself throughout history and the idea that we have no idea where or when it could be from show to show entertains me thoroughly. Another great segment.

EZ Vs Jerry - This was everything Scott and I wanted it to be really, 2 guys who hate it other going for the most painful things they could think of from the get go. Everyone in Global is so technically gifted in the ring we thought we'd go the other way. Hope you enjoyed.

The Invention Of The Cowbell - Man this got dark and brutal. Beethoven probably deserved it though, no dog movie needs like 7 sequels.

Act III - Really fun video recap that got me hyped for the main event so served it purpose very well.

Overall this felt different from an episode of Domination in the best possible way. Everything felt grand and the stakes were at their highest. A really fun read from start to finish that I was glad to be part of. Well done everyone!
