I owe you all an apology for not getting feedback done at all this arc, so I can't bang the drum on previous shows. So, I'll look to get that done. I hope you enjoy the show.

Some quick thoughts:

My least favourite of the arc so far, because despite the absence of feedback, I have obviously read all three. More on that.

Let's actually book some matches, please. I know I'm probably not completely forgiven for what happened last arc, and I'll take that, but I'm trying to make up for it. If you're not going to read the shows, at least writing a match every so often if capable would help and if not, a segment.

SHOW ME ON THE TEDDY...: The usual cryptic segment. We learn that Doritos is either aligned with, or working against Jerry David, and also that the teddy bear may be sentient. You would expect nothing less from a Doritos scene.

CHAMPIONS: John J. says 'boo-hoo, cry me a river, snowflakes. Only goes to show who the REAL top Champion in this company is!" The Champs raise some good points, though. And then Nikolai goes and ruins it for them. If I had a guess, I'd say somebody gon' get they ass kicked, somebody gon' get their wig split. My bet is on Team United or LA Express.

OPERATION PR STUNNED: The PR tour continues for Best of British. Will they still have a will to live by the time it's over? Tune in to the next exciting episode!

...SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT: Machinations continue, and Alicia emerges as the mastermind. I feel sorry for that poor pawn already.

TAKING THINGS TO THE NEXT LEVEL: A new phase begins for Trouble Roxx. Stand by for #StrongStyleRoxx in the near future.

PUNCH DRUNK PRINCIPE: Principe is comfortably in the La Parka/Silver King/Prince Iaukea role now, and he gives Purcell a good fight. I thought he might get the distraction rollup win, but the result was correct, and the PPV match continues to enjoy a good buildup. 3/5

PRIME TIME CHALLENGE: Ah yes, the tried and tested 'singles match between members of two tag teams' trope. Good heel promo before that, though.

POLICE ACADEMY III: Is the best in the series. The movie, I mean. This segment kind of retreads old ground, but then at the end, it comes into its own, as Miranda Wright reveals a little bit more of her approach to conflict (and likely why she isn't part of the LAPD anymore.) Dynamics are also beginning to fall into place with this group, which makes me pleased as Punch Drunk Purcell.

DO YOU WANT TO HEAR A JOKE?: OK, stop me if you've heard this one. A crisps spokesperson and a comedian walk outside a bar...

RICH CLASSIC: More back and forth than I would have expected, and then Dec gets robbed. Also, get your act together, Gabrialle. Geez! 3/5

CHAMPIONS PT. II: ...shouldn't this have been right after Part 1? Entertaining backstage brawl, but...did time just stand still for the last two matches?

THE BATTLE, NOT THE WAR: Nice buildup for Reyn vs Malta featuring poor little Angel, but Reyn better start SHOWING he is 'one of the most dangerous men blah blah', because ever since the end of Arc 1, we've only been TOLD as much, only to see him fall short. This is his chance to prove he's more Vlad Dracula than Edward Cullen. Let's hope he takes it. (Also, we are missing out on an interview segment with him being titled INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE. Just saying. It's RIGHT FREAKING THERE.)

DREAM KID: ...um, the Main Event better be FUCKING AMAZING to have taken the spot from this!! Better than a singles match between THESE TWO had any right to be on paper, and a genuinely emotional thrill-ride - one of those matches that make you question the foregone conclusion result for a split second. 4/5

LET'S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS: TO DEFEEEEAT! THE HUUUUUNS! (Sorry, I had to.) Anyway, Dirty Greats being dirty great each in their own unique way, before...Mr Merchandise? OK, then. Interesting segment all around.

QUESTIONS NEED ANSWERS: What time is it? No, not Vader time - time for a strong, confident Sean Darring promo! And that is exactly what this is, as the Champion looks to shrug off his first loss and leaves a warning to JD. Typical Brian stuff, which is far from a bad thing.

BEST MERCH: No entrances. Smash cut to the action. Alfie is there on commentary, apparently. Why isn't Best facing Niko Sinclair, who wanted a fight so bad earlier on? Oh yeah, return match, that's why. Wait, Keegan's out here as well? And he's laying the verbal smackdown on Reyn! Allie's going a bit psycho here - has Reyn gotten to her? Oh, so THAT'S why they were there! Anyway, this one is about everyone except the wrestlers, and while entertaining, it is the weakest match so far, especially after Best's tag partner put on a barnburner against the #2 wrestler in the company... 2/5

INTERNATIONAL INCIDENT: Full disclosure: this was meant to be a match, but time constraints turned it into a segment. I feel it works even better in setting up what's to come, though. Hopefully, everyone agrees.

ANGEL GETS HER WINGS: Just a little thing I needed to do to show Angel's growth, and to set up something else.

MALTA ANGEL: Uh...WOW? Okay, that DID deserve to outrank Dream and Kid. Holy shit! Angel starts off getting battered, as she should, and it looks to be quick, but then...she breaks the Master Lock, essentially? And then goes Full Valorie and almost wins? Holy shit!! One small nitpick though, this was the PERFECT opportunity to put the Maltese Cross even MORE over. Other than that, amazing match, which overcomes the lack of star power to justify its position on the card. 4/5

EMINEM REFERENCE: ...and there is what I was setting up. Although, the mood for this has now literally all changed, as Angel's match was not five minutes (though maybe it felt that way to her? I dunno) and she would not be this chipper after what happened. Oh, well...

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: An ominous little coda to the previous segment, which I would really have liked to have been the last thing people saw on it, but again, oh well...

YOU ARE TO BLAINE: JD breaks kayfabe, appears to be mind controlled, and who the hell is Fritos? Intriguing segment which cements JD's full heel turn.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MATCH OF THE NIGHT: The Main Event by a hair over Dream vs Kid.
SEGMENT OF THE NIGHT: Probably David's closer. Shout-out to PTA and Dirty Greats' promos as well, and the boardroom segment.
FEUD OF THE NIGHT: Rutherfords vs the Players, Doritos vs JD, Malta vs Reyn, Truth Control vs the GLOBAL Nation. Plenty to pick from this episode.
LINE OF THE NIGHT: "it’ll be equally interesting to see if “The Diamond” can handle the rough." Nice turn of phrase there.

OVERALL THOUGHTS: Nowhere near as disappointing an episode as Keegan made it out to be. Rather, a strong episode of TV, perhaps lacking in star-power inside the ring, but with great buildup for all ongoing feuds, and at least one HOLY SHIT moment in a match. Onwards on the road to The Last Laugh!

Match of the night: Daniel Dream vs Kid Chameleon (main event Angel Rameriz vs Son of Malta is a real close second)
Segment of the night: I Was Playin' in the Beginning...the Mood's All Changed
Feud of the night: Angel Rameriz vs Son of Malta
Line of the night: "Daniel Dream, a singles and tag team specialist, capable of beating anyone, anywhere, anytime in the world."

Show Me On The Teddy Exactly Which of His Legs You'd Like To Break: Creepy.

Champions Don't Get a Match? Not Happening...: My segment with Jeff so I don't have much an opinion on it. I liked it. I hope you did too.

Operation PR Stunned, Phase Two, Home (Dis)Advantage: I still like the PR scheme.

...Should You Choose To Accept: The board room stuff continues to be an interesting subplot. A coordinated plan to take down the board members? I'm interested.

Taking Things To The Next Level: Trouble Roxx admitting they got outsmarted and outwrestled is very surprising.

El Principe vs Punch Drunk Purcell: The Round Mound of Ground and Pound has El Principe off his game early. El Principe uses whatever tricks he can and I don't blame him. The Great Wall and Xiang interrupt giving El Principe some time to take the advantage. Too much fight in Punch Drunk Purcell. Very good match.

Prime Time Challenge: The Prime Time Athletes issue another challenge.

Police Academy 3: Back in Training: Another great segment with Miss Wright and the maggots, the line about the ninjas was funny, might be my line of the night.

Do You Want To Hear A Joke?: A very interesting segment.

Jimmy Classic vs Declan Rich: Declan Rich has a hot start. Jimmy Classic cheats to get back into control but brass knuckles, handful of tights, nothing can stop Declan Rich. Jimmy Classic gets disqualified as Trae saves his partner. Another very good match.

Champions Don't Get a Match? Not Happening….Do We Got Your Attention Now?: Another segment from Jeff and I. I hope you like it.

The Battle, Not The War: Son of Malta vs Angel Ramirez is a very interesting match-up. I can't wait to see how it goes.

Daniel Dream vs Kid Chameleon: Very great match. A nice back and forth. "Daniel Dream, a singles and tag team specialist, capable of beating anyone, anywhere, anytime in the world." I changed my mind. That's the line of the night.

Let's Get Down To Business: Aleczander The Great is such a good casual talker. Like I can feel his charisma radiating off the screen.

Questions Need Answers: Jerry David has Sean Darring's attention and has become the number one contender.

Darren Best vs Mr. Merchandise: The sudden Shane Stagg hate made me chuckle. Two masked intruders ruin the ending of a very good match. The matches so far have been really good, shame that one ended like it did but I'm sure the storyline will be interesting.

International Incident: I'll be honest, I didn't like John J. Truth's last promo but this promo was just great. I was pissed. A great heel and a strong promo. A good segment all around.

Angel Gets Her Wings: Angel is going solo and I love the title of this segment.

Angel Ramirez vs Son of Malta: "She bounces like a spider hitting a windshield" is a very good visual simile. Angel breaking out of the Satan of Side Headlocks is how you make a star in defeat. Last show was all about Son of Malta, this show was about Son of Malta vs Angel Ramirez. Angel makes Son of Malta spit up blood. I really want to make this match of the night but I feel like the referee decision kinda kills the ending a bit. I think some of the best matches have been when two stars have strong wills and refuse to give up. Having that choice taken away from a competitor makes it really hard to feel satisfied, but that's probably intentional to set up a rematch.

I Was Playin' in the Beginning...the Mood's All Changed: I'm a HUGE mark for Eminem so I'm going to have to bump this up to segment of the night off the title alone. But also, a really great mystery coming off a great match.

Mission Accomplished: Squad?? Very interesting.

You Are To Blaine: Jerry David declares he's going to win the GLOBAL World Championship.

Match of the night: Angel v Malta (Loved the drop of Angel having flashbacks of Valorie and her betrayal/leaving the Angel Corps which leads to her snapping)

Segment of the night: Taking Things to the Next Level (The Battle, Not the War is a close second tho)

Feud of the night: Border Control v Alfie and Crusader

Line of the night: (I dunno if it counts cause it isn't a SPOKEN line but... )" The most disturbing sight of all is her eyes. Blank… expressionless, a disturbing calm in contrast to the savagery of her actions as she slams another knee into Malta’s nose to cause another spray of blood" (THAT was very well done, could literally visualize that gaze in Angel's eyes.)

SHOW ME ON THE TEDDY: While I know the opener is always important, it feels like this arc, 18 included and yet to come, has made it a bit of a trend in terms of starting things off hot and making it memorable. This segment, a continuation over three shows, is short and sweet here, but it left an impression on me the moment I read it.

CHAMPIONS DON’T GET A MATCH: A good deal of attitude shown by the champions here, Nikolai Sinclair is someone who says what he means and mean what he says, so someone is clearly in bother. I liked it.

OPERATION PR STUNNED 2: An ongoing saga as well, and Pedro asked me if an appearance on a show like this would be okay, which I was fine with. In character, it also shows the level of influence Kerry has. This was a nibble, and I’m curious to see OPRS 3.

TAKING THINGS TO THE NEXT LEVEL: It’d be nice to see Jacqui take on a Jose Lothario-like role, and train/manage both Hayley and Trouble Roxx, but I’ll take this in the meantime. Trouble Roxx embracing their ‘streaming’ side more is also good to see, and it makes a lot of sense to keep a video diary as they work their way back to The Rutherford Guys. Very good.

EL PRINCIPE V PUNCH DRUNK PURCELL: Punch, pin, pay window has to catch on, Jack.

This was immensely enjoyable. Seth can wake up, load the computer and write a good match while woozy. It was more competitive than the first, Principe got some STELLAR stuff in, and the right result while moving PDP towards TGW.

PRIME TIME CHALLENGE: They’re youngsters, but they’ve got an old-school mindset when it comes to selective memory with what happened in their previous matches, a simple device that I happen to get a kick out of, and something that winds me up rotten in real life, my dad being a prime example of it, pun intended. They’re dickheads, but I sure enjoy them.

POLICE ACADEMY 3: I really, really, really like Chett Marx, and he seems to be the designated wind-up merchant in the crew.

Again though, Miranda’s the star of the show and they don’t know whether they’re coming or going. She’s a mean bitch, and I mean that in a nice way, not that I’d tell her that. This may be even better than the previous instalment.

DO YOU WANT TO HEAR: Excellently done, and I am especially intrigued to see what happens when these two meet again.

DO WE GOT YOUR ATTENTION NOW: It did what it had to, and leads to a match I wrote on 18 against opposition that may not be a hot team, but make sense in terms of what they mean to Daniel in GLOBAL.

LET’S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS: I got a kick out of the Steve/David Blaine mix-up. I’m old.

Brilliant banter back and forth between the two big men, and a nice added wrinkle of Mr. Merchandise seemingly offering to ‘buy them.’ A lot of fun, some suspense and a very good segment, all told.

QUESTIONS NEED ANSWERS: Typically brilliant by Darring. Some superb turns of phrase/analogies here, treading a fine line between angry and respectful, which he excels at.

INTERNATIONAL INCIDENT: A simple yet sensational segment title for something that went long but it was worth it. Truth, Lexi…what a combination they are. The commentary, the fan interaction…again, I’ll just come out and say that it’s the best segment of the night thus far, and JJT has carried on his fantastic form.

ANGEL GETS HER WINGS: A piece that brings about a bunch of emotions, illustrating a lovely friendship, relationship really, between a mentor and mentee, but all building towards making Ramirez a star. Speaking of which…

MAIN EVENT: Shae didn’t write this with the intention of it being main event, and this falls on me, I didn’t really see a natural main event, so plumped for this one. It felt like the right choice considering, and given it was my MOTN, I’d say it worked out well.

Considering.

Anyway, the Saito suplex starts things off hot. No messing around by Malta, who isn’t the kind to mess about at the best of times.

Again, the line breaks for a one-count. Please. Unless it’s a dramatic act of defiance at the end of the match.

That German was bloody brutal. Suplex I mean, not Merkel.

Both characters’ personalities and in-ring styles are showcased fantastically. There’s a flair and a grit about Angel, a fiery babyface you can get behind, and Malta’s a meat-and-potatoes kind of guy who can go face, heel or tweener, and come across as credible with his ‘technical fighting’ style.

I’ll refrain from commenting further on one-counts, I promise, other than to say this one was more tolerable. Just about. Well, the next one…OKAY! No more from me, but yes, they’re annoying.

Awesome escalation to the finale at least, and an impressive instance of both emerging better coming out of the chute than they were going in. Well done.

Annoyed I missed the ‘Snyder’ typo. One of the greatest feuds in GLOBAL history is back, guys.

I WAS PLAYIN’ IN THE BEGINNING: Well, I did get that music reference because it was blindingly obvious, but more importantly in the here and now, it’s a fabulous segment that puts even more sympathy and emphasis on Angel Ramirez, and while any time would be horrible to do it, right after an impressive main event performance is like an extra kick in the teeth, so this really worked on multiple levels.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: Because the first word that comes into my head is “Bastards” I would definitely agree that it’s mission accomplished, again, in more ways than one…

YOU ARE TO BLAINE: …As is this! A corny but cracking title. These three segments all felt big and definitely improved the show. I should’ve put two and two together, having read Darring’s promo afterwards, but I have got used to there not being as much after the main event, so apologies for missing all of these.

Regarding the segment itself, I loved the idea when I heard it, and the execution of it, as well. It takes the feud up a notch, it feels like the perfect way to end the show, and when I was exchanging clips with Hod about this yesterday, I said this would be the equivalent of attacking JR while feuding with Austin, though you could argue Mene Gene and Hogan, too, especially with Okerlund’s role. David is no longer tweener, it’s a grudge match now, an area in which JD has excelled above anyone during the time GLOBAL has been open, and I’m looking forward to a bit of the old Darring coming out, not just in the opening of 18, but the PPV main event as well.

David told us why. It wasn’t personal for him – but it is for Darring. This has been the feud of the arc so far, and I’m happy to say that.

OVERALL THOUGHTS: To answer what Pedro said above, this wasn’t a bad show, per se, but I don’t have that much to comment, because I have bypassed all of my own work. My disappointment is writing 60% of the matches on this show, and I’ve never written a dud in my life. Neither have you, nor Shae, nor Seth. That’s all I’ll respond to. Overall, I probably preferred this show to the previous one, but one or two things disappointed me, and it was better than 18. Still, it’s a good arc, but the first show is the best one. I am stoked about the go-home show at least, and hope it equals Dominaton 15. However, start to finish, it hasn’t been a bad arc by any means, and I would say it has been the best overall, though Season 1 Arc 1 was my favourite of last year and delivered big on 2 TVs and the PPV, so it might rest on (drum roll…) THE LAST LAUGH.

BEST SEGMENT: International Incident.

BEST MATCH: The main event.

BEST FEUD: With several good pieces, I’ll go for the main event angle between Sean Darring and Jerry David.
