All right, let's do this.

AMERICAN HISTORY X: It was an absolute honour and a privilege to work with this group of handlers and contribute to an absolutely amazing opening segment.Everybody brought their A+ game and created what might be the best opening segment in GLOBAL history. I'm not worthy. Sorry for directing traffic a bit too much in the private chat, as well - I just wanted this to be the best it could be, and the beast I knew it could be. Mission accomplished.

DAYS OF FUTURE PAST: I had this segment ready to go for last show, because of my own idiocy, and yet I sat on it for this show to make sure it would not offend anyone. Hopefully, it doesn't. This is just a loose end from Truth's past that I wanted to return to/introduce to you guys.

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER: Geez, the first like, fourth of this show is all me. Oops. Anyway, as izzy says, 'short and sweet' - I really just wanted Roxx to do their New Age Outlaws schtick and call out this week's challengers, plus get the bit about Twitching in there, without too much additional ado.

ROXX VS TEAM UNITED: Appropriate rematch of the girls' very first match in GLOBAL, with the same result, and hopefully as fun to read. I continue to wish Keegan would have given Team U any kind of non high-flying offence, because they are really difficult to write taking offence or as bases to Roxx's own flips. Anyway, hopefully it worked.

FACING REYN I: A segment I was shown beforehand. Short, sweet, and sets up some pretty interesting things. Spoiler: the end of this segment is why I sat on the additional one I had planned, which is now pushed to next week.

DRAW YOUR OWN CONCLUSION: Naked Man doing the old time-hole gag. Okay, then...

BACK TO DOING PRIME TIME THINGS: PTA licking their wounds and getting ready to return and do things which I know about, but won't spoil. Efficient enough segment.

NEARLY MOB FODDER: Doritos trolling Naked Man. Okay, then...

FACING REYN II: Growing up, Portuguese Sesame Street used to have this segment about an elephant that got warned by several other animals not to shake the crocodile's hand, then shook it anyway, and got shocked. Right now, Valorie is that elephant.

NOT THE MATCH FROM THE HEADER: REALLY threw me off there for a second. Anyway, Val's about to get murderized. Great fast-paced start, then Reyn takes control, and I see shades of Randy Orton in his methodical, almost sadistic spot-targeting. Then there's a stage note (Scott DID say he wouldn't be editing anything, Shae!) Some great fightin' babyface moments from Val, but she's just delaying the inevitable. Aaand there it is. Seriously, Valorie set herself up as a one-trick pony, single-mindedly spamming the one move even when she knew she physically couldn't. I also tend to agree with Hopper - either that Angel match should have ended in five seconds, or GLOBAL's Big Bad just let a woman who had a competitive match with an untrained teenager hang in there with him for 5-10 minutes, which is not a good look for him. And then the post-match...LOL Reyn is such a goth-kid edgelord. He is doing the absolute MOST right now.

EDIT - ACTUALLY THE CORRECT MATCH NOW: Sweaty Bros make their debut against a previously unseen tag team with a BIG whiff of those 80s and early 90s masked jobber teams, like the Conquistadors (AKA Edge and Christian), the Executioners, the Ding-Dongs or the Dicks. Except they have magic powers, so why aren't they beating the Bros in five seconds with them? Unless regeneration is their ONLY power... Anyway, what the hell happened in the finish? Shouldn't the ref have DQ'd Tony Sweat for attacking the Salamanders' legal man while not being the legal man for his team? Was this a no-DQ match? I r confuseded. Good match otherwise, though.

TO HELL WITH PATIENCE: Oddly subdued promo from our GLOBAL World Champion, but it still does the job, and sells what ended up being one of the stories in the Main Event, incidentally. Good job as ever from Brian.

ALEX VS VALORIE AGAIN: Requisite once-per-show editing SNAFU - check!

AN INTERRUPTED CELEBRATION: Maniac and Tony celebrating their win in the match they did not have (OK, I'll stop, you get the point.) Then, a fun confrontation between two teams feuding over...merch shirts? Hey, there's been worse excuses, I guess. Then, a duplicated half-sentence when Tony goes to speak. Good segment overall, though.

THE DECISION: ...is unexpected, at least for me. Anyway, best segment since the opener. The Jester reminds me of any number of chaotic neutral/chaotic evil supernatural entities from pop media, like Mr. MXYKTPLZ from Superman. Consider me interested.

AIDS: Uh...okay? Dead people having a party in the past, years before most of them were dead... Nobody better complain about segments not being about wrestling or advancing the story anymore.

MAIN EVENT: A lot of moving parts to intertwine in this one, with both existing (Darring/Dream, Darring/Truth, Principe/Truth) and potential future feuds (Dream/Truth, Crusader/Truth) as well as multiple storyline elements, all within quite literally the biggest match in GLOBAL history - maybe not in scope or stakes, but certainly in concentrated amount of talent. Hopefully, I lived up to the task. For what it's worth, I had a lot of fun with it, even if it did make me never want to write again for as long as I live.

TRUTH AND CONSEQUENCES : Not the consequences of his actions catching up to him!! Shocked face.

(Added in after I realized Truth would probably be arrested for destruction of property...)

FINAL THOUGHTS: This was already going to be the John J. Truth show, but everybody else helped by barely booking any segments or matches. Come on, guys - pick up the pace! The lack of Keegan content and input was fairly noticeable, and that would have been easily avoidable. The SNAFU with the duplicated match did not help either. What is in place is good, though, and advances stories well enough, but this is a remarkably slight show.

Match of the night: With not much to choose from, and two out of three being mine, I'll default to Reyn v Valorie - the match so good, it went on twice.
Segment of the night: Can I say the opener, even though I took part? Everybody else in it fucking KILLED it (Crusader's section, holy SHIT!) and it made me proud to be a part of GLOBAL's #MainEventMafia. Runner-up: The Decision.
Feud of the night: Truth vs the world and Reyn v Valorie.
Line of the night: Every single damn thing Crusader X said in that opener. HOLY. SHIT. SON.

Pedro's rating: 6/10, AKA the Chris Hopper Special. A serviceable, if slightly spinny-wheely, episode of television, with amazing bookends.

Match of the night: Truth Control and Daniel Dream vs Crusader X, Alfie Button, El Principe, and Sean Darring

Trouble Roxx had another great match but the star-power of the main event simply could not be beat.

As was said, it would either be the "greatest match in GLOBAL Wrestling history, or a gigantic fustercluck"

And let's just say it was not a gigantic fustercluck, but with Dream and Truth Control turning on each other repeatedly, it was an entertaining drama.

Segment of the night: AMERICAN HISTORY X (in terms of setting up the main event) and DAYS OF FUTURE PAST (in terms of character development)

I really enjoyed Truth's segment, it was like a horror movie, I was horrified but enjoyed it

Feud of the night: Truth Control and Daniel Dream vs Crusader X, Alfie Button, El Principe, and Sean Darring

Line of the night: "You heard me, bitch. You, Did. This. You gave my boy autism, so you could take the last thing I had left away from me for good!"

Damn, John J. Truth is such a despicable character. I know that's not anything groundbreaking or newsworthy, but I will be there for his downfall. Lol.

AMERICAN HISTORY X: Does its job to set up the main event, but could have been shorter for my taste personally.

DAYS OF FUTURE PAST: Good piece of character development.

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER: Sets up the match that follows.

FACING REYN (I): Flips back and forth with tense. Not to patronize, but I know some people struggle with tenses: https://www.grammarly.com/blog/verb-tenses/ - hope this helps. Valorie's hyped up for her match. Does a good job of showing her frustration and building a story around the match.

DRAW YOUR OWN DISGUSTING CONCLUSION: We've seen this place before. I think it's obvious what's going on...

BACK TO DOING PRIME-TIME THINGS: Well written, and I'm looking forward to this feud progressing. #EatTheRich !

NEARLY MOB FODDER: We've seen this place before, too. But he's always just a step behind, isn't he? Can Naked Man catch up? I do like the narrator. Great idea.

FACING REYN (II): Same as (I) - tenses flip flop about a bit, but it does well to set the match up. What I don't get about Reyn is, he's put over as a monster, but we've seen him lose plenty. He's no monster, really. I'd like to see characters stop putting him over as if he's unbeatable, or see him become unbeatable. One or the other.

THE HELL WITH PATIENCE: Darring is a little edgier in this one. I can't wait for the heel turn!

AN INTERRUPTED CELEBRATION: It goes a bit funny in the middle. I think it needed proof reading:

"Before the Masked Maniac can finish his sentence, Tony Sweat interjects with enthusiasm, sweat flying from his animated response, hitting both Gemini and Chris Smith as they snarl and dodge.

Tony Sweat interrupts, saying – sweat flies from his animated response nailing both Gemini and Chris Smith as they snarl and dodge.

“And the ladies!” Tony Sweat exclaims, his voice filled with a mix of determination and a mischievous charm."

Still, good segment, nudges the feud along.

THE DECISION: Mine

AIDS: Received this in a fever dream.

TRUTH & CONSEQUENCES: I find it a bit far fetched that someone got arrested for damaging a fence, and two other people get arrested for standing near someone who damaged a fence. But okay, I guess we're gunna see where this goes on Dom 12.

OVERALL: Decent show. A few angles moved forward. Hopefully more intensity on Domination 12...

FWIW I looked up the penalties for destruction of property in Seattle, and it does include potential jail time, and VERY hefty fines.

Match of the Night: Reyn vs. Vitality. A super fun, high action sprint with vivid descriptions of pain and violence.
Segment of the Night: Days of Future Past. As an autistic person, this really hit home for me. Fuck Truth.
Feud of the Night: Truth Control vs. GLOBAL homers vs. Daniel Dream.
Line of the Night: ""You heard me, bitch. You, Did. This. You gave my boy autism, so you could take the last thing I had left away from me for good!""

The Good Stuff: An easy, breezy read. Most of the segments were really solid. The matches were fun to read and didn't contain anything egregiously bad for the most part. Vitality vs. Reyn was great and Pedro did a hell of a job bringing everything together for the main event. The Naked Man and Doritos Man stuff continues to feel like Adult Swim sketches. I don't understand them 100%, but they're entertaining, and that's at least part of the point.

Room For Improvement: Some grammatical errors, unfinished sentences, and generally messy writing. I echo the criticisms about the lack of intensity. There was some, but this was a pretty low key show overall aside from the two bigger matches. There were also a couple move descriptions that had me going "???". There was a mention of X going for a Fosbury Flop on an opponent in the corner. A Fosbury Flop is a type of dive to the outside. Just a small nitpick.

Conclusion: Fun, easy read with some cool moments! Excited to see where Truth and Dream in particular go from here.
