My reasoning for picking Dream is for two reasons - #1, with the two characters' stories, I think Reyn can rebound to the top easier with a loss. Dream carrying that chosen one redemption story would have a more challenging time. 2nd reason is now that Dream has surrounded himself with some "friends," there is an easy route to Reyn being overwhelmed/distracted in defeat.
