Strengths: Technique - A good technical wrestler with bags of experience.

Getting away with things – While he has been disqualified for cheating, he tends to be old school in doing it behind the referee’s back and still gets away with it more often than he doesn’t.

Economical – He can work long matches due to his style.

Weaknesses: Power – Not bad for a middleweight but will struggle with fully-fledged heavyweights.

Courage – Not the bravest (nor the most cowardly) man to step into the squared circle, and won’t like to mix it with someone throwing bombs, unless he thinks he can win.

Complacency – He has a tendency to take his eye off the ball at times and let his opponent back in.

Double-Edged Sword: His Plan A…and Plan A – El Principe is a predictable wrestler in the main. He won’t deviate from softening up the legs and backs too much.
Cheating – Too reliant on it?

Quirks/Eccentricities: He doesn’t speak English, though many think he secretly does, and his understanding of it is better than he lets on.

Dos and Don’ts when writing your character: Don’t have him speak any English AT ALL.
Have him cheat, but sprinkle it throughout the match.

Beliefs, Values and Desires: It’s only cheating if you get caught – And, even then, he’ll still argue the toss with the referee.

To get out of the family’s shadow – Principe’s father, El Rey, is a Lucha Libre legend. Rather than inherit the mantle, he forged his own path, yet still with a sense of entitlement. Wherever he goes, however, he has never really been able to step outside of his father’s (or brothers’) shadow, which irks him.

Backstory: A former nbW Tag Team and SCW TV champion, El Principe has had the taste of gold before. Plus, his name recognition in Mexico, for whatever that’s worth, and his versatility in singles and tag team action make him a half-decent acquisition for GLOBAL.
