Strengths: A multitude of dangerous finishers – Not only can the Red Carpet Treatment be wheeled out in numerous ways, but he also has VIP Treatment amongst others up his sleeve.
Studious – Pride, ego, whatever you call it – VIP studies his opposition, and tries to make some adjustments.
Equally capable in singles or tag team matches
Weaknesses:
Posing before pinning/winning – While VIP hates losing as much as anyone, there are times when, having too much confidence the job is done, he has posed after hitting The Red Carpet Treatment rather than going for the cover.
Narcissistic – In more ways than one.
Double-Edged Sword: Confidence – He treads the line between confidence and arrogance on a minute-by-minute basis.
Tactics: He can overthink things at times, and others, his vanity gets in the way. But, when he’s on, he’s excellent.
Quirks/Eccentricities: Often smiles at the camera; expect to see him appear in off-site segments often; poses on the canvas after a big move, a la Tetsuya Naito; likes to make a grand entrance in various cars, whether it’s for a match or at the arena.
Dos and Don’ts when writing your character: Nothing special
Beliefs, Values and Desires: To be the man…you have to be the World champion: It pains Price to the point of keeping him up at night that he is yet to achieve (or even come close to) this feat. But, yes, he believes the ultimate validation is being on top.
To retire before the age of 40: VIP doesn’t want to wrestle beyond this age, because it’s undignified, and while he loves wrestling, he wants to get out with all of his faculties. Plus, he’s using it as a springboard for…
Hollywood stardom: Simply put, VIP sees himself as a future leading man in Hollywood. Firstly, though, he has to prove it in professional wrestling.
Backstory: How did your wrestler make their way to GLOBAL
Victor Ingram Price, AKA VIP, was born with a platinum rattle and a silver spoon in his mouth. There's even a rumour his mom's breastmilk had artificial preservatives.
Basically, he had the best of everything. His parents were rich and Vic was brought up by his babysitters. Mind you, they changed at an alarming rate, usually because of his mother's insecurity concerning his father's wandering gaze...
In addition to having ludicrous amounts of wealth, Victor was blessed with a sharp intelligence, great looks, a well-built body, charisma and superb athletic gifts.
Was there anything he couldn't do?
Well, he couldn't do what he wanted to do more than anything in the word.
Wrestle.
Victor Ingram Price already believes himself to be a very important person.
Now, he has to show it.
